This is my latest project for my classes at the Ramstein Arts & Crafts Center: the 5-in-1 Card purse. I stamp-lifted this adorable project from Amy Celona's website, which I've listed in my blog links.
Her site has a wonderful step by step tutuorial if you want to try this project yourself. Since I teach at the A&C Center, the sky is the limit on the products used to complete each project. Here I used Daisy Bucket papers, ribbon from Pink Hedgehog Paper Crafts, CTMH stamps and
sparkles, and Stampin' Up! ink, stamps, cardstock, punches, and the 5-in-1 card template. It's an eclectic mix of products but it gives my students an opportunity to road test a greater variety of products. The Daisy Bucket Papers are absolutely adorable, with a less conventional blend of colors for Valentine's Day, and a pebbly texture to the paper. I did have to reinforce the inside of the flap with cardstock since the paper isn't as sturdy as SU! Designer papers but the paper design makes it worthwhile.

I've resisted modern technology for long enough and finally opted to get a blog. Blogger is free and easy and did I mention free? I'll try it out to see if it meets my needs and if not, I can always hit the delete button or switch to a pricey blog that does more. Anyhoo, welcome to my blog! It will be a mish-mash of rubberstamping stuff, school stuff, and just plain 'ol life stuff. Boring for some of you, perhaps, but therapeutic for me and a way to finally answer all those crafters in my life with, "Yes, I finally have a stinkin' blog! Are you happy now?" As you may have guessed from the glaring title of my blog, I'm into cows. What's not to love about a cow? It has four stomachs, which means it's always lunchtime, lives to be large, and can easily be converted into steak and a beautiful sofa! I know, I'm crazy but life would be so boring without a bit of zaniness. So enjoy all the musings and fun of my new blog!
